Job Description: A Bridge Engineer conducts structural analysis to ensure the strength and safety of highway structures, prepares structural design and contract documents including drawings, specifications, and estimates; participates in preparing project budgets and schedules, participates in meetings with clients and project team members, and reviews structural calculations and contract documents prepared by others.

Job Description: Bridge Inspection Engineers focus on the structural integrity of a bridge, checking for fractures in concrete, rust on metal supports and other problems that affect the overall condition of the bridge. 

Job Description: Project Engineers plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and budget parameters.

Job Description: Engineering Technicians read and review project drawings and plans to determine the sizes of structures, observe project sites and evaluate contractors’ work to detect problems with a design, and help to ensure that project construction conforms to design specifications and applicable codes.
