The National Center for Rural Road Safety is excited to announce that the 2023 National Summit on Rural Road Safety will be held September 12-14, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK. The Summit will be in partnership with the National Association of Development Organization’s (NADO) National Regional Transportation Conference (NRTC). The theme is “Resources for Rurals: Equipping you to save lives”. NNTW Center Staff from the Northeast and West Regions are active in the planning and development of the conference and in the running of the center.
The goal of the Rural Road Safety Summit is to provide rural transportation practitioners proven resources and noteworthy practices to make their roads safer. Suggested topics must support this purpose. You’ll get:
- Sessions and trainings customized specifically for rural transportation practitioners
- Ideas on how you can partner with law enforcement and public health professionals in your area to make roads safer
- Networking with local and national rural professionals like you
